The garden courtyard and restaurant

The garden courtyard and restaurant
A century ago the Marsam was a dig house for the archaeologists working the Theban hills, and it still feels like one: low mud-brick walls, a garden courtyard, the tombs a short walk away. Quiet, unhurried, and the closest stay to the Gathering grounds.

Who is here
Everyone has a part at the Marsam.
The Marsam holds hosts, Egyptologist guides, and four Featured Participants: people who offer a talk, a ceremony, a practice, or a performance, and who travel and pay their way like everyone else. They offer their work to the program as a gift.
Their work moves between the hotels and the boats, so whichever stay you choose, it is one program.
And you. If you have something to offer, there is a place for it. Offering is an invitation, never a requirement. How to take part
