Egypt Eclipse

These terms govern your purchase of a place at Egypt Eclipse, a gathering held in Luxor, Egypt around the total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027, organized by IMXP Events LLC ("we," "us," "Egypt Eclipse"). By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party.

Each experience (the Luxor Eclipse Gathering, the hotel and retreat stays, the Nile River Cruise, the Giza Activation, and the Trilogy Pass) includes the specific inclusions listed on its booking card at the time of purchase. Anything not expressly listed is not included. International and domestic airfare to and from Egypt is not included unless stated otherwise on the booking card.

Where a flight or other transport within Egypt is listed as included on your booking card, we are responsible for providing it. If it is cancelled, delayed beyond use, or otherwise fails, we will arrange a suitable alternative at our cost, or refund the portion of your booking that relates to it. This applies whether or not the failure was the fault of the operator we booked.

Where a journey is designed for you rather than chosen from a published pathway, the written offer we present to you takes the place of the booking card, and every reference to a booking card in these terms applies to that offer in the same way.

• A purchase is confirmed once payment is received and you receive a written confirmation from us.
• Where you apply for a place, a deposit (the "Application Deposit") holds your place while we review your application. Section 4 sets out how it is treated.
• Where a journey is designed for you rather than chosen from a published pathway, a deposit (the "Reservation Deposit") holds your place while we design it. Section 4 sets out how it is treated.
• Where an installment plan is offered at checkout, the schedule is shown at checkout and the remaining balance is due in full by 1 June 2027.
• Places are limited and are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. Prices and availability may change until a purchase is confirmed.
• All amounts are in US dollars (USD).

• Cancellations by you must be made in writing to marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com.
• The Application Deposit holds your place while we review your application. If we are not able to offer you a place, it is refunded in full. If you are accepted, it becomes a credit toward your booking and is applied to the pathway you choose when your booking is confirmed.
• The Reservation Deposit holds your place while we design your journey. We will present a written, fully costed offer within thirty days of receiving the Reservation Deposit, and you then have thirty days from the date we present that offer to accept it. The Reservation Deposit is refundable in full at any time before that acceptance period ends, and it is refundable in full if we do not present an offer within thirty days. If you accept, it is applied in full to the price of your journey, and your booking is then treated as a confirmed booking under these terms. If the acceptance period ends without your acceptance, the Reservation Deposit is refunded in full.
• Where you cancel a confirmed booking, amounts you have paid beyond any Application Deposit or Reservation Deposit are returned to you less any costs we have already committed on your behalf to our travel partners for your place, as at the date we receive your written cancellation. We will tell you what that amount is within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. If you want a defined right to a refund rather than one that depends on committed costs, section 9 sets out the Change of Plans coverage you can add when you pay.
• Where a refund is not available, we will do our best to offer a credit toward a future gathering.
• A place may be transferred to another person with our written agreement, provided they meet these terms.

We may adjust the itinerary, accommodations, vessels, programming, or guides where reasonably necessary, and will aim to keep the experience equivalent in quality. Published itineraries are a guide to what your days may hold and are not a fixed schedule. If we cancel an experience for reasons within our control, we will offer a comparable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for that experience. We are not liable for costs you incur independently, such as airfare or visas.

Your safety comes first. We are not responsible for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, acts of government, civil unrest or conflict, strikes, travel restrictions, health emergencies, the closure of airspace or airports or widespread air travel disruption that prevents the gathering from being held or prevents us from delivering it, or supplier failure. Supplier failure does not extend to transport we have expressly included on your booking card, which is dealt with in section 2. The eclipse itself is a natural event and its visibility cannot be guaranteed. If conditions make the gathering unsafe to hold, our force-majeure terms apply: we will offer a credit toward a future gathering, or a refund, as set out in these terms.

You are responsible for valid travel documents, including a passport and any required Egyptian visa, and for meeting all entry and health requirements. We can offer guidance but cannot be responsible for denied entry or missed travel arising from incomplete documents.

Your travel to and from Egypt is your own arrangement. A missed, delayed or cancelled flight affecting you individually is not covered by these terms and is not a force majeure event, even where the airline is at fault. This is why we recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation cover, and why we offer Change of Plans coverage at checkout.

Comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, medical, and evacuation cover, is strongly recommended for all guests.

At checkout you may add optional Change of Plans coverage for 5% of the price of the covered items in your booking, calculated on the list price before any discount or coupon. It is not automatic. You choose it when you pay, and it is charged once, in addition to your booking total.

If you have added it and you cancel in writing to marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com:

• On or before 15 October 2026, you receive a full refund of the covered items.
• After that date and on or before 2 March 2027, you receive a 50% refund of the covered items.
• At any time, in place of a refund, you may move your place onto a future comparable Egypt trip at no additional cost. This option remains available after 2 March 2027, when refunds under this coverage no longer apply.

Coverage applies only to the items it was purchased against. Where the Application Deposit has been applied to a covered item, it forms part of that item's price and is covered along with it. Guest Passes and the Trilogy Pass are not covered and cannot be included. Coverage is offered on some pathways and not others, and its availability is shown at checkout, or, for a journey designed for you, in your written offer.

This coverage is our own commitment to you. It is not a travel insurance policy, and it does not cover medical costs, evacuation, delays, or lost belongings. We continue to recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every guest.

The experience involves international travel, heat, walking on uneven ancient sites, and time on the water. You confirm you are fit to participate and will tell us in advance of any condition that may affect your participation. You accept the inherent risks of travel and participation.

Egypt Eclipse welcomes guests of all ages. Anyone under 18 is welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who takes responsibility for them throughout, and some experiences may carry their own age or safety guidance, which we will share where it applies.

We want everyone to feel safe and welcome. Please respect your fellow guests, our team, our partners, and the places we visit at all times. Disruptive or illegal behavior, or conduct that endangers others, will result in removal without refund.

Egypt Eclipse is documented in photography and film. By attending you consent to being recorded and to our use of that material to share and promote the gathering. Tell us in writing if you wish to be excluded and we will make reasonable efforts to honor it.

You participate and travel at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, and our liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the affected experience. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy, which is published at https://imxp.org/privacy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms. If any dispute arises, please contact us first at marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com, and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
