For many who come, this is a first time in Egypt. Close the odyssey with three nights in a five-star hotel at Giza: the pyramids at first light, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and dinner facing the pyramids lit at night. Your place at the Lion's Gate is included.

The West Bank of Luxor
Luxor is the ancient City of the Sun, the city of Amun-Ra, known to the Greeks as Thebes. The Valley of the Kings behind you, the Nile in front, and Karnak across the water. We watch from private land near the Colossi of Memnon, almost exactly on the centre line.
The ship moors here, the hotels are a walk away, and for three days everyone is on the same ground.

Chapter two of the Eclipse Trilogy
The big gathering. 4,200 participants from more than 75 countries came together beneath the Snaefellsjokull glacier to open the Trilogy as one community.
Small on purpose. Quiet moments in the temples and on the water, several ways to meet totality, and familiar faces from Iceland.
The final chapter, where co-creation comes full circle: small gatherings in many places across Australia and New Zealand, on 22 July.
After the Trilogy, the saga continues: South Africa, 2030.

Luxor and the Nile Valley are among the most visited places in Egypt. We work with ENEV Travel, a licensed Egyptian operator, for the river, the ground, and the temples, and we handle transport, accommodation, and the site.
August in Luxor is hot and dry, and the week is built around it: temples in the cooler mornings, rest through the afternoon, shade, misting fans, water, and refreshments at the Gathering, and transport held for the heat of the day.
