Egypt Eclipse is a passage through time. Artists, scientists, explorers, builders, and seekers travel the Nile together toward Luxor, where ancient civilizations aligned architecture and daily life with the movement of the sky.
We inherited this alignment, and we gather to design the future with intention.
It is the shift astronauts describe on seeing Earth from space, the overview effect, found here on the ground: a gathering of people remembering we are part of something far larger than ourselves, and choosing to build from there.
Luxor, one of the oldest continuously inhabited places on Earth, was built over the ruins of Thebes, capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom.
We will view this eclipse from the west bank of the Nile, near the Valley of the Queens and Hatshepsut, a temple dedicated to Egypt's famous female pharaoh.
Every room can be booked one of two ways. Take a single place in it, or take the whole room and bring your own people.
You book one spot and share the room with others, your own group or fellow travelers we bring together. Priced per person, so the more who share, the less each pays.
You book the whole room for you and yours. That covers you, and you add a Guest Pass for each other person sharing the room, up to what the room sleeps.

Every accommodation pathway includes the full Luxor Eclipse Gathering (New Moon ceremony 1 August, eclipse viewing and celebration 2 August, send-off brunch 3 August), all meals, ceremonies, temple visits, and transport to and from the grounds. The cruise adds seven nights aboard, all tours, and resident Egyptologists. The Gathering pass on its own is for those who already have a place to stay.

Most international flights arrive via Cairo. From there, you continue to Aswan for the cruise, or to Luxor for hotel stays and the gathering. Our team will arrange transportation to and from the airport for you.
Around Luxor. We're holding private land on the West Bank, near the Colossi of Memnon. We'll share the exact site as the gathering approaches.
Activities run from the evening of 1 August through the morning of 3 August, with totality on the 2nd. You're welcome to come and go.
We provide shared transportation to and from the gathering grounds, running from set locations in Luxor. Pick-up points will be announced closer to the gathering. Omda stays include dedicated transport, and the Marsam is a short walk from the grounds.

August in Luxor is hot and dry, and the gathering is designed around it. Activities are held in the cooler mornings and evenings, with shaded places to rest and water and refreshments throughout the day.
Not quite. Each eclipse gathering takes its shape from where it is held: local customs, how remote the site is, the time of year. Egypt is not a traditional festival, though there is content woven into every part of the trip: music, art, a speaker series, health and wellness.
The Luxor Eclipse Gathering is the heart of it, and every pathway includes it. Totality on the 2nd, then music into the evening on the land we are holding on the West Bank, a mix of local Egyptian musicians and international DJs.
Around that, each pathway has its own rhythm. On the river, temple tours in the morning, yoga and breathwork after, talks while sailing the Nile, and music in the evenings. Wherever you stay, expect ceremony, shared meals, and time to rest, held at a human scale.

Egypt Eclipse is the middle chapter, and one of the longest totalities of the century over the City of the Sun. The point in the arc where awakening becomes building, where what was remembered in the north is made real on the Nile.

On July 22, 2028, the path of totality crosses Australia from the northwest, through the outback and Sydney, continuing to the south island of New Zealand. To close the trilogy here, in the southern winter, is to end where human cosmological memory arguably began.
