NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DEPOSIT DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF BEING SELECTED. THIS IS A CONTEST OF SKILL. THE WINNER IS CHOSEN BY JUDGES USING THE CRITERIA BELOW, NOT BY CHANCE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1Sponsor
The Egypt Eclipse Community Pathway (the "Award") is offered by IMXP Events LLC, 411 Brazos Street, Unit 103, Austin, Texas 78701, United States ("Sponsor", "we", "us"). Sponsor is a for-profit company that organizes Egypt Eclipse. Questions: marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com.
2Eligibility
You may enter if, when you enter, you are 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). The following may not enter:
residents of Italy and Brazil, and of any country or region subject to comprehensive United States sanctions (currently including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine)
anyone who lives somewhere this Award is prohibited or restricted by law
employees and contractors of Sponsor, members of the judging panel, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members
3Entry Period
The entry period opens on 1 October 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm Central Daylight Time (UTC-5) on Friday 9 October 2026. Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper. Late entries are not accepted.
One entry per person. If we receive more than one entry from the same person, only the first complete entry counts.
No extra or bonus entries are available for any reason, including a purchase, a deposit, an application, or sharing on social media.
Entries must be your own work. They must not infringe anyone's rights, and must not be offensive or unlawful. Entries that break these rules are disqualified.
The entry page also offers an optional $999 place deposit. The deposit is a separate purchase. It is not part of entering, it is not needed to enter, and it has no effect on judging. Judges are not told who has made a purchase or deposit.
Ticking the box to receive Egypt Eclipse updates is optional and has no effect on your entry.
5Judging
The panel. Eligible entries are judged by a panel of at least three members of the Eclipse Trilogy Council (listed in section 16). At least one judge is independent of Sponsor, as described in section 6. The full names of the judges are available on request from marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com.
What the judges see. Judges score your answers only. They do not see whether you made a purchase or deposit.
The criteria. Each judge scores each entry out of 100 points:
Criterion
What the judges look for
Points
Contribution
What you would bring to the gathering. How specific, thoughtful and achievable it is, and how it would serve the group.
40
Alignment
How your answers reflect co-creation, respect for Egypt and its people and sacred places, and care for a shared group experience, as described in our guiding principles.
35
Clarity and sincerity
How clearly and genuinely you answer the questions.
25
Scoring. An entry's score is the average of the judges' scores. The entry with the highest score wins.
Ties. If two or more entries tie, the entry with the higher Contribution score wins. If they are still tied, the judges re-read only the tied entries and vote on Contribution alone. The entry with the most votes wins.
Minimum standard. Sponsor may decline to award the prize if no entry reaches an average score of at least 60 out of 100. If that happens, we will say so on this page.
Records. The judges' decisions are final on matters of judging. Sponsor keeps score records for 12 months.
6Independent Judge
The independent judge meets every point below, and has confirmed it in writing:
not an owner, officer, employee, contractor or agent of IMXP Events LLC

does not enter, declares any personal or family relationship with an entrant, and steps aside from scoring any entry they know personally
has relevant experience to judge the criteria in section 5
agrees that their full name is made available on request

8Winner Notification
We will email the potential winner by 23 October 2026.
To claim the prize, the potential winner must reply within 7 days and confirm their eligibility. If they don't, or if they are found ineligible, the prize may go to the entry with the next-highest score.
The potential winner may be asked for information needed for tax reporting.
9Taxes
The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize. Sponsor will issue any tax forms required by law.
If the winner is not a US person, United States tax rules may require withholding of 30% of the prize's value (about US$300), reported on IRS Form 1042-S. Sponsor will pay this withholding on the winner's behalf.
10Publicity
We may announce the winner's first name, last initial and country. The winner can ask us not to by emailing marhaba@egypt-eclipse.com.
We will only use the winner's photo, voice or likeness to promote Egypt Eclipse if the winner gives separate, optional consent.
11Privacy

We only send marketing emails to entrants who tick the optional updates box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
12Release and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
Entrants release Sponsor, its affiliates and partners, and the judges from claims arising from entering the Award, or from accepting or using the prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries, or for technical failures.
Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
13Changes, Suspension and Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, submits more than one entry, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive way.
If fraud, technical failure or another cause beyond Sponsor's control harms the Award's fairness, Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel it. If that happens, we will judge the eligible entries received before the problem.
Sponsor will not change the prize, criteria or closing date to entrants' disadvantage after the Award opens.
14Social Media
If the Award is shared on Facebook or Instagram:
The Award is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta.
Entrants release Meta from any liability.
No entries are given for likes, shares or tags.
